Medina Road Productions (pronounced Muh-DIE-nuh) was founded by professional editor and writer Jimmy Miller in 2001. Originally based in Washington DC, MRP Inc. got its start through contracts with Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel and Outdoor Life Network.

The company relocated to Los Angeles in April, 2004 and has since expanded its client base to include ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, TBS, History Channel, Disney Channel, E!, TLC, Lifetime, Fox Reality, Game Show Network, Court TV, Travel Channel and SoapNet.
